Bugatti recently showcased their new supercar, it’s price point is an unfathomable 10 million dollars. The car is called the “Centodieci”. The previous model of Bugatti which this car is derived from is the EB110 model from the 90s. The car has a factory 0-60 time of 2.4 seconds. Of course factory 0-60 times may differ slightly than top gears time due to roll outs during speed trials. It takes a short 13.1 seconds to reach 186 mph and the car tops out at a reported 236 mph. Take a look below.
Now lets talk about these supercars. Whether its the Bugatti or the Ford GT or the McLaren Speedtail, these cars are unattainable by the regular individual. I respect these cars and admire the engineering and planning that goes into creating such a masterpiece. And yes, I am aware that there is a certain “experience” correlated to driving a car worth millions of dollars. With that said, I don’t think I would enjoy that experience. Driving a million dollar car would make me such a nervous wreck I don’t think I could truly enjoy it. Not to mention the maintenance costs and lifespan of these cars(mileage) is another sad story in itself. I would have a much better time riding around in a Mercedes AMG reaching 60 in 3.5 seconds. Or perhaps riding in a Tesla and reaching 60 in the mid twos. Audi RS7, BMW M series, those are my dream cars. Regardless of my thoughts, someone will buy the Centodieci(whether they drive it or not is another story). What are your thoughts on this supercar?
