You read that right. A Florida man by the name of Hunter Mills used a front end loader to cover his girlfriends car in dirt. As you can see in the pictures this action caused some serious trouble.
Criminal Mischief is what Hunter was charged with. The motive is unclear but I can speculate it was something along the lines of infidelity. Depending on the damage caused, the local police, and other factors, criminal mischief in Florida can be either a misdemeanor or felony charge. If the damage is over 1,000 USD it can carry a hefty prison sentence and a nasty felony charge. Anything lower than 1,000 worth of damage will result in possible jail time and felonies with a misdemeanor. It will be interesting to see how this one pans out. Will be updated as story develops.
